Fundamentals of Successful Sales, Summer Semester 2023/2024
There is no citizen who can abstract from the act of sale. Knowledge of the principles and techniques of successful sales allows us to properly exercise our rights as consumers and as sellers. Offering a university specialized course in successful sales can create a basis for appropriate behavior in a market environment. The first section "Theoretical foundations of merchandising" examines the nature and types of merchandising, as well as the potential benefits of its application.
The atmosphere of the point of sale, the impact of aromas on the emotions, awareness, and harams that buyers spend in large shopping centers are studied. the advertising props, the name and the logo are typed.
Special attention is paid to materials and accessories, floors, interior walls, ceilings, installation and equipment, lighting. The exterior design of the shops is studied: colors and materials, the signs of the shop, the entrance of the shop, the shop windows.
The interior design of the store examines the types of displays and the basic rules for their manufacture. The goals of interior merchandising, grouping and arrangement of goods, types of interior (interior) design of the store, the organization of the interior space is the main topic of this part of the project.
Section 2 of the course will examine the specifics of merchandising in Bulgaria, the most common mistakes, and alternative solutions. Here attention is paid to different types of shops - for clothing, household goods, furniture stores, DIY stores, as well as electrical and electronic appliances. The last part of the course will present the role of man as a factor in merchandising and merchandising as a profession.
