The course on Smart and Sustainable Governance presents the governance strategies for smart and resilient future, dealing with current transformations and dynamic challenges – agile governance, sustainability, smart cities, clusters, coping with disruptions and global transformations, uncertainty and risk in the 21 st century. The strategies of entrepreneurs, innovators, “outliers” and leaders of tomorrow, who are driving the changes of the future, are a special section in the course. The main goals are to presents not only the strategic planning cycles and implementation, but also to elaborate further on the approaches to strategic thinking in the 21st century, the main principles of strategic managements and practical aspects of the strategy process. The course is based on case studies and practical assignments, ending up in a final project. Design thinking model and simulations are applied.
