Annotation of the discipline :
The program covers two educational blocks. The first part focuses on the peculiarities of family education, the educational style and patterns of parental behavior, the criteria for effective family education. It follows the dynamics of parent-child relationships in childhood. Methods are provided to study the educational potential of the family.
In the second educational block, the subject of analysis and assessment is the problems of the socio-pedagogical work with the parents. Emphasis is placed on the need for pedagogical education of parents, the essence and content of it is clarified. Students get acquainted with specific models, programs and forms for socio-pedagogical work with parents in organizational, procedural and methodical terms.
